Ingredients

  • 30 cups
  • 250 g butter (room temperature)

  • 1 egg yolk (room temperature)

  • 150 g caster sugar

  • 350 g plain flour (sifted)

  • 100 g cornflour 

  • 100 g custard flour 

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence 

  • ½ tsp yellow colouring 

  • ½ cup chocolate rice 

  • ½ cup coloured sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Mix

    • Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar till creamy
    • Add egg yolk, vanilla essence, yellow colouring and beat till well combined
    • Add all dry ingredients plain flour, custard flour and corn flour. Continue to beat.
    • Using your fingers, form dough into a ball. 
    • Shred dough using a kitchen grater.


  2. Bake

    • Pre-heat oven at 180C
    • Lined small paper cups on a baking tray.
    • Using a small spoon, scoop dough and carefully place on each paper cup.
    • Garnish with colored sprinkles or chocolate rice.
    • Bake for 12 to 15mins


Arrange and Serve

Remove from oven. Leave to cool before keeping it in airtight container
