1/2 cup finely diced cooking onion
2 tbsp sambal or sriracha sauce
1 tsp finely grated ginger
2 cloves garlic (minced)
juice of 2 limes
800 g beef flank steak
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
4 medium artichokes
2 limes
2 cups chopped radicchio
2 cups diced english cucumber
2 green onions (sliced)
1/2 cup chopped fresh coriander
2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
splash of fish sauce
salt & sugar (to taste)
deeep fried shallots (for sprinkling)
Spoon the chili glaze over the steak, sprinkle with the fried shallotsand serve immediately.
